LADIES SPRING LEAGUE.
The ladies spring league will begin shortly, so if you want to enter the entry sheets are up in the ladies locker room.
We had another good weekend competition with almost 50 playing despite the cold and windy Saturday we had. Sunday was the better of the two days with the turnout also better. The Spring league begins next Wednesday and scores from either Wednesday, or the weekend can count towards your overall, but only one from the week. Please remember to write Spring league on the card or else it won’t be counted. ALSO, some Gentlemen are not entering their scores on the computer. From next week ANY card not entered on the computer will not be counted.

We opened 18 holes last Saturday for the first time this early in many years and the last 6 are in good condition. Hopefully the weather continues to be as kind over the next few months. Today Monday 3rd and tomorrow Tuesday 4th the greens are being pencil tined and rolled which, with minimal disruption, will keep our greens drier and lead to better playing surfaces.
Lately it has been noticed that we have a large build up of unrepaired pitch marks on our greens! PLEASE repair your pitch marks and ONE more if you can. Remember a pitch-mark repaired on time and correctly will heal in less than 24 hours but an unrepaired pitch-mark will be evident for up to a week. If you want good greens please do your part.
A huge thanks you to all of you who paid your subscriptions over the last two weeks with over one hundred members paying their Yearly subscriptions. Please remember that this is the greatest part of our Club income for the year and it is imperative we get it in as quickly as possible. Remember it is YOUR Club and our overdraft costs us money which if all subscriptions were paid on time we would save money we need for inputs on the course. So PLEASE, the office will be open every day for you to pay your sub. We have many different options, cash, credit card or if you want to spread the payments over six months, that facility is also available, just ask in the office.
