The Minor Cup team took on Gowran in Kilkenny on Monday 26th March They had a convincing win over Gowran winning the 17th 12th and 16th holes the remaining two matches were called in 4 up and 1down on the 14th hole Team members were Marie Gorey, Olive Walsh, Helena Mc Cormack,Annette Hogan, Theresa O’Neill Manager Pauline O’Brien .

On Saturday 31st the Intermediate cup team had their fist match against Baltinglass which was played on neutral ground in Gowran park . Again the Callan ladies showed there determination by beating a strong Baltinglass side winning on holes 14,15 and 16 to claim the match
