A very high bar set for our first competition following the Covid shutdown.
We had 170 golfers on our timesheet and 130 of these entered our Open singles.
Hopefully the 40 who missed out on the competition will enter next week.
Tommy and Noel assisted by some volunteers have the course in excellent condition.
We also have Mark going around to rake the bunkers and they are looking good.
Scoring was hot with 26 players on 36 points or better but there was no problem
identifying the winner Peter Ryan with a fantastic 47 points.
The handicap Sec will be busy !!!
Congratulations to all who played and well done to the prize winners.
All our prize winners will get Dwyer’s golf shop vouchers
- check with the shop to collect your prize over the weekend / next week.
